Is it any wonder NBC lags behind every other major network in literally every single kind of programming? They decided last night to show ICE DANCING and BOBSLEDDING for four hours while the US hockey team played Canada on, get this...MSNBC. No one even knows that channel exists. I think Keith Olberman or whatever his name is sits and shouts at the camera over there every night, pretending to know things about politics when really he just knows how to shout. And basketball. I think he knows something about that, but he and NBC think he's a latter day Edward R Murrow. Dick Ebersol, the arrogant fool who runs the sports department, explained the move by saying that no one in the US likes hockey and they wanted good ratings. Right, and people love ice dancing.
After such a ridiculous move I am glad the network is losing tens of millions every day at the olympics and hope they get taken over by the Food Network once the whole thing is over.

Seriously, I agree with everything you said about MSNBC though. Worse than Keith Olberman and Chris Matthews, is Joe Whoever on Morning Joe and obsequious sidekick, I don't remember what her name is either. But sometimes I watch them, just to hate them.
